A: Although there are ongoing efforts to constantly improve the PC ecosystem, there are still many areas that have not been dealt with. In addition, a typical computing environment includes many programs and peripheral/network devices that make this task even more complex. PCPal Beta helps users overcome these complexities by detecting problems and issues they should be aware of, and providing them with automated fixes, tools and other information on how to fix them.

A: We make special efforts so that PCPal Beta's footprint is small and consumes very little system resources. We, therefore, believe that this issue should not be of concern to users. However, if for some reason system resource consumption is an issue for users, they can either configure PCPal Beta to scan at longer intervals or stop the real-time notification mechanism.

A: PCPal Beta is fully supported in Windows Vista.
